(Beverly, MA) – March 29, 2016 – Brookwood Financial Partners, LLC (“Brookwood”), a nationally-recognized private equity investment firm, today announced that Darrin Samaha has joined the firm as Vice President and Brand Manager for BW Gas & Convenience Holdings, LLC (“BW Gas & Convenience”). BW Gas & Convenience is an affiliate of Brookwood, which owns and operates gas stations with convenience stores in selected regions of the United States. Brookwood intends to expand its portfolio to between 600 and 1,000 convenience stores in the next several years.<\/p>\n
Mr. Samaha\u2019s primary responsibility will be to lead the development of BW Gas & Convenience\u2019s convenience store brand across all channels, including the development of digital and social media marketing strategies and working collaboratively with third party agencies and vendors to create targeted advertising campaigns.<\/p>\n
“Darrin has a wealth of experience in brand development and management in the retail industry, including graphic design, brand creation and website development, and we could not be more excited to have him on board,” stated Jayne M. Rice, Brookwood\u2019s Managing Director and Director of Institutional Sales, Marketing and Investor Relations. “His strong technical skills, coupled with the success he has had in analyzing consumer-driven data and deploying digital and mobile marketing campaigns, will enable him to develop programs for our BW Gas & Convenience business that will maximize our branding and marketing effectiveness.”<\/p>\n
Prior to joining BW Gas & Convenience, Mr. Samaha was the Chief Creative Officer and founder of Blue Coda where he created and built Blue Coda\u2019s corporate brand and vision and led the firm\u2019s project management teams. Also in his tenure at this position, Mr. Samaha managed and led all creative staff operations and successfully translated and represented client brands in the digital space. Mr. Samaha began his career at Vignette Corporation with the Advanced Business Analytics Group where his team developed web-based financial services tools.<\/p>\n
Mr. Samaha is a graduate of Tufts University. He is also a member of MITX, The Ad Club, the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, the American Marketing Association Boston Chapter and the Boston Interactive Media Association (BIMA).<\/p>\n
