(Beverly, MA) \u2013 January 14, 2016 \u2013 Brookwood Financial Partners, LLC (\u201cBrookwood\u201d), a nationally-recognized private equity investment firm, today announced that Albert Chan and Jill O\u2019Leary have been promoted to Accounting Manager, and Adam Chin has been promoted to Assistant Vice President.<\/p>\n
Mr. Chan and Ms. O\u2019Leary have established themselves as leaders within the firm\u2019s Portfolio Accounting Group during their eight and six years with the firm, respectively. In their new roles as Accounting Managers, Mr. Chan and Ms. O\u2019Leary will each lead a team of accountants that will be responsible for the general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and financial analysis of a portfolio of commercial real estate properties. Brookwood\u2019s Portfolio Accounting Group provides accounting for the firm\u2019s current real estate portfolio, which consists of 112 buildings and approximately 8.7 million square feet of commercial office space located throughout the United States.<\/p>\n
Mr. Chin is an acquisitions analyst in Brookwood\u2019s Corporate Acquisition Group, where he has worked for the past two years. He is responsible for performing financial analysis and conducting due diligence on all gas station and convenience store properties targeted for acquisition by BW Gas & Convenience Holdings, LLC, a Brookwood affiliate. Mr. Chin\u2019s analytical support was instrumental to Brookwood\u2019s first portfolio of gas stations with convenience stores in western Iowa on December 9, 2015, and his responsibilities will continue to expand as the firm targets to acquire approximately 600 convenience stores over the next several years.<\/p>\n
